 নাহয় তোমার যা হয়েছে তাই হল।

          আরো কিছু নাই হল, নাই হল, নাই হল॥

কেউ যা কভু দেয় না ফাঁকি   সেইটুকু তোর থাক্‌-না বাকি,

                   পথেই না হয় ঠাঁই হল॥

          চল্‌ রে সোজা বীণার তারে ঘা দিয়ে,

          ডাইনে বাঁয়ে দৃষ্টি তোমার না দিয়ে।

হারিয়ে চলিস পিছনেরে,   সামনে যা পাস কুড়িয়ে নে রে–

                   খেদ কী রে তোর যাই হল॥
