চিরজন্ম সঙ্গোপনে পূজিব একাকী–
কেহ জানিবে না মোর গভীর প্রণয়,
কেহ দেখিবে না মোর অশ্রুবারিচয়।
আপনি আজিকে যবে শুধাইছ আসি,
কেমনে প্রকাশি কব কত ভালোবাসি॥

Keho janibe na mor gobhir pronoy,
Keho dekhibe na mor ashrubarichoy|
Aponi ajike jobe shudhaicho ashi,
Kemone prokashi kobo koto bhalobashi||
Many a time have I thought of putting aside all my doubts
